Hi,

first of all: good job, this board is great. (if I will get it working....)

Installation was fine, no errors, but in the last step I get the message
"crypt() is not supported in this PHP build"
(I´m using PHP 4.0.5)

After that, the board doesnt work and I get other error messages....
What can be wrong?

You NEED to have crypt for this to work as we encrypt the passwords.  So you'll need to either speak to your host, get a new host, or use another forum :(

I'm hoping one of the beta testers that used that combo, I'm going to check the list.  crypt() has had some problems on Windows with PHP for awhile now...

Windows server.  If you haven't installed it yet, I suggest installing Apache but hey, that's my personal preference ;)

My comment was just a preference on server software, not saying your issue would be fixed (which has to do with using Windows) ;)
