Hi can a custom title mod be made for SE?   (YaBB SE Kicks ASS! btw  ;D)

Custom titles have been in YaBB since the earliest Perl versions, and this is no exception for YaBB SE.

So your mod is already built in.  ;)

Alex he is refer to something like a special title not the normal membergroup.

thats not the same as custom titles

custom titles mod you have a part in the member profile where you can assign a custom title, what you showed is a positions function, its a pain in the arse, you have to put in the name, save, then go to a members profile, drop down menu, select title/postion then save.
In the custom titles mod you jsut go in the members profile and give them a title and save...

Lloth is right Alex. I'm going to write up a custom titles mod cause they are cool and my users want one. I'll let u know when i do it. Probably over the weekend.

I was going to prove it, but i accidentally messed up my admin acount and now i have to figure out how to undo it.

Well actually Alex is wrong. You don't understand what custom titles are :P
Asigning someone to a member groups is all fine, but then they no longer recieve stats like number of posts etc. It doesn't give them anythung special as they cant even edit their title.
Custom titles will give an admin the option to give Custom titles to Moderators, and VIP's. They get stored in the users profile. All VIP's or Mods can edit what their custom text says. You cannot do this with Member groups.  :P :P ::)
