are you sure that in your converter, you are setting the prefix blank?

You've got no prefix on those tables (i.e. they are 'members' not 'yabbse_members' for example) - so if the prefix is defined as anything other than '' in your converter - you won't be able to insert the info.

you are right!..
how can that be?.. im SURE its set in converter.php!
both times it asks! (its there by default)

either way, when i clean out the database prefix field, everything slips thru like santa down the chimney! heh =]

hey no worries :)

both the converter and hte installer use yabbse_ as the default prefix - you most likely just missed it the second time :)
