Not so serious install problems

First of all, my prefix: YSE_ did not get saved in the database.  It did save it in the settings file however.  the installer also seemed to change the directory name: YaBBSE to YabbSE, which, on linux, screws crap up...

I do like the javascript that changes the names in the fields though :)

Did you use the converter after the installer, or did this problem occur right after the installer ?

So, your problem occurs only after the converter?

I'll assume that is the case. Probably you did not enter the information in the first screen of the converter correctly.
In the installer, you have to specify a directory to install in, and a prefix for your database. In the first screen of the converter, you have to re-enter these values....exactly the same as you did in the installer. They are not linked or whatsoever, so, the converter does not know your boards location and database prefixes, even if the installer did.

Just to clarify - this is the case if you run them at different times - if you're go stright into the converter from the installer it should pull the settings from your install session.

Did you run the converter as an extension to the installer, or later?

That's really strange, because it does not do that over here....never been doing that also. I assumed that feature was not implemented yet? Was planning on writing it myself.

Okey, but does that solve your problem with the board?
Or haven't you tried again yet.
