I got this error when converting my YG1.....

Converting Settings...

Error editing table (yabbse_settings). Unable to set agreement=You agree, through your use of this  foru
Error editing table (yabbse_settings). Unable to set news=Its Official!!
You can now get to this s
Error editing table (yabbse_settings). Unable to set maxdays=30
Error editing table (yabbse_reserved_names). Unable to set matchword=0
Error editing table (yabbse_reserved_names). Unable to set matchcase=0
Error editing table (yabbse_reserved_names). Unable to set matchuser=0
Error editing table (yabbse_reserved_names). Unable to set matchname=0
Editing table (yabbse_membergroups). Inserting Pimpologist

            (Only proceed if successful!)


Anyone know what I can do to either ignore this or manualy modify it to work/convert correctly?

ok....i continued...and got this on the next page....

it looped over and over like a million times....

these errors sound like you put the wrong directory infor for your YaBB 1 GOld stuff

i uninstalled everything, dropped all the tables from MySQL and reinstalled everything making sure I had all the directories correct.

could it be a mod that I had installed that may have made those features incompatible?

can you tell by those errors why it isnt converting?

i will delete or modify anything to get this awesome forum to work.... ;D

Damien, I had those errors when I didn't chmod my old YaBB 1 G directories to "777".  Once I did that, I was all set...

Oh yeah, when are you gonna release your mods!?   ;)

damnit....its still not working..  :'(

same error messages.....

I am going to try and install a brand new YGSP and see if it will convert that....

ok....i just downloaded a new version of YaBBSP1 and replaced all my old files but kept the messages, boards and members....

and it worked....

thanks again for a great forum system....
