Just a bunch of questions...

Can i port YaBB to ColdFusion?
Is it allowed by the copywrite?
Where can i find people to join the porting to ColdFusion?

I doubt you could find any one wanting to port it for free seeing as how coldfusion is a commercial language.

I saw some sourcefourge projects working with ColdFusion...so there must be people out there...

We'll see, i think you have to have the time also..which I certainly don't have...

i have an older version of cold fusion... i think it was 5.. ok? just looked around and its now marcromedia coldfusion? and its still 5? huh... so allaire was bought out by macromedia?

Yep, macromedia bought allaire...and version 5 of the coldfusion server is released about 1 jear ago...

And actually it's not that expensive either...get windows (95% already has)...install Personal Web Server and grab the ColdFusion Express from allaire.com....a totally free operation (except the purchase of your windows).

Yes i know you need a development environment...HomeSite...Yes it's trial...but who doesn't reformat his windows every 3 months? :P

its another type of web language. like PHP, Perl, ASP, Javascript.. k?  ;D
