Install Problem

Problem Description:
i have a problem installing the msgboard...

i have used the safe version and ihave done it properly...

once i chuck in my info on the first page i get this error.. i really dont understand whats goin on here....

Cannot connect to database server with given data!

Please check the information you provided, and then try again.

That error message could mean several things. Check to make sure that:

A. the tmp folder is chmodded properly. Most times this should be 777 (everyone has read write execute permission).

B. you entered the database information correctly.
