This is the second time we're running this contest - and like last time the same prize is up for grabs - a free CD of your choice (within reason of course ;D) from HMV.com

The goal of the contest this time is not just to make a cool site, but to incorporate the logo that was chosen, and to minimize bandwidth (i.e. try not to use huge crazy graphics, or tables that are overly complex).

This contest will run until February 19th, or until we find something we really like.

I will post the PSD later if I can find it at home (computer crashed so may not have it).

Best way would be to have it on a site somewhere. Failing that, email it to us...

Hi Jeff,

I'll try my hand.  What colors are the theme going to be base?  The standard YaBB SE or something new?  Would a transparent gif or png file be useful?  What are the dimensions you need.

you do know a free cd aint gonna get you many great entries.
unless there willing to do it for pretty much nothing.
sorry but a free cd is like $10
the great stuff ive seen are selling for nothing less than $40 sorry

Sorry Trevsweb, you got it wrong... why would anyone pay $40 for a template for a forum that's free under the GPL?

Most of us here share our templates, heck, there's even a site dedicated to it where we can download templates all day for free.

Geesh! :)

Instead of asking for more money or more expensive CD why not make it because you wanna say thanks to the makers of the YaBB SE. Because like Mad Moya said, it is FREE to begin with. You don't see the YaBB SE trying to charge for this program that is more complex than a freakin forum and website template! Sorry, I tend to get angry very easy... and I was at the DMV for 3 hours this morning so I'm a little edgey too :(
