Well I'm glad to see the news is gone from the main page. Still looks like a portal.. but I'll try and keep an eye on your progress, as often as I can spare it. ;)

Right now I'm patching the RC files from YaBB SE as soon as I get them, so I've been a bit busy with that code. And I'm still finding small buglets in my own code that I'm working on, so not a lot has been done to the look yet... hang in there!

How much control over site visual design and site structure (navigation, menu systems) does the admin have?

Hi Irbrian (How do you pronounce that?)

The admin has a fair amount of control - however Microcyb has been concentrating on the representation and flow of information within the cms - which I believe to be almost done.

The menu control system is cool and (as far as I am aware) parts of it are being recoded as we speak. (thats if Microcyb as paid attention to my notes ;) )

Take Care,

LOL

Hm, I'm not sure if I should be flattered, shamed, or completely confused regarding the fact that you guys are having a debate about the pronunciation of my nick name..

Sorry to disappoint you, Jeff, but the correct pronunciation is indeed I Are Brian. My first name, in fact, is Brian, as that would seem to imply. ;D

However, the grammatically incorrect, existential intepretation was an after thought. Technically, the ir stands for Inverse Reality, which begs an entirely separate explanation which I will not bother to go into here. I-R-Brian remains the ideal pronunciation either way. :)

Well that's cool enough. I took a look at it around the time that this thread was first created, and at that time it didn't seem to be quite as flexible as I would like. But of course I will keep an eye on the evolution of this CMS as well as the others that have been discussed on this board.
