I'm still having this problem trying to load this mod, Does anyone have any suggestions on why it would be timing out?
I run a very basic board at: http://www.carrscorner.com/yabbse/index.php and have never loaded any mods, but when I try and load this bug fix I get this message when running the Test(recommended) install or Apply

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/home/jackcarr/htdocs/yabbse/Sources/Packages.php on line 326

Any ideas.  thanks

Check your php.ini, or bother your host.  The problem is that in php.ini it is possible to specify a maximum amount of time to run the script.  However, this mod takes longer than 30 seconds to apply.... another option is to get Boardmod and apply the .mod file with that.

Why don't you just try it out, then?  It's not like you can't uninstall it.... plus, you could just use a test board.

I'll answer that with the title:
'[Done 1.5.0] All known bugfixes "01-02-03" Jan 2, 2003'

I haven't made more updates as 1.5.1 is looking closer each day.

I have recently converted from Y1G.  Everything was working fine except fader.js..  I've been going through these forums looking for a fix, and came across this one.

Not only did it not fix the fader, but now there are runtime errors when posting/replying.

Uninstalling doesn't help either.

1st Error:  Line 273; Object Expected
2nd Error:  Line 122; Object Expected

The post/reply is still successful, but the errors are a definite problem.

Please help this old fool who neglected to backup before installing the pak..

First of all.... this is ONLY meant for YaBB SE 1.5.0 - not 1.5.1, and not 1.4.1.

Download the sources again - just get the 1.5.1 upgrade package.  Don't worry, it won't affect *any* of your froum data.  (unless you were on 1.5.0, then you will need to run upgrade.php.)

Yes, my current version prior to applying this pak was 1.5.0.  I only mentioned the Y1G upgrade because I thought there might be a relevant issue involved.

edit:
Thanks.  Replacing original files fixed the post/reply issue.  Fader issue remains.  Trying bugfix pak again now (after making a proper backup this time)..

:)

Thanks again.  The bugfix pak has fixed the fader issue, among many other things I see from the readme.  Odd though that the fader resizes itself between news items, causing a slight content shift up/down..  I'm sure there's a fix for this out there somewhere too though.  Thanks for putting this pak together and for all the help Unknown.

I try not to jump into the beta world any more often than I absolutely have to.  This looks like the most active help/support community I think I've ever seen though, so I may go ahead and make the 1.5.1 jump.  I'd like to make sure I haven't screwed anything else up in 1.5.0 though before doing an upgrade.

:)

edit:
Found the fix for the resizing fader:  http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=178;action=display;threadid=16880;start=0

Normally, it would be crazy to lock a mod thread.  However, I think I would rather make this statement, and then lock it:

YaBB SE version 1.5.1 is, in every way, an extension of this modifcation.  It will fix all your problems and more.  Furthermore, it is no more 'beta' than this mod is.

Please, if you are using 1.5.0 upgrade to 1.5.1.  It will fix much more than this package.

YaBB SE 1.5.1 thread: http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=9;action=display;threadid=17909
