Thanks for the tutorial.. The steps worked great.

As I went on to apply the mods, I got this:

An Error Has Occurred!

2: fopen("english.lng", "w") - Permission denied
(/home/nebass/public_html/forums/Sources/Packages.php ln 359)

I have chmoded the packages dorectory 777, just to make sure that everything could be accomplished (or so I thought).

You will also want to chmod the englihs.lng and Sources directory.... it can't modify files without that.

Once I CHMODed the english.lng to 0666, that did the trick.

Hi all.  Recently I submitted bug report 661704, and unknownbrackets had told me that this mod might fix the problem I am having with posting at all on my newly-installed board.  I successfully installed the newest mod, and I still can't post.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Do I need to only install the newest mod file to take advantage of all updates?  Thanks guys!

In that case, take a look at the Bugs board.... there's a post there that tells you how to disable sessions, although I don't recommend it.  I think your server might not properly support them....

First, you will need to  a new server.list:

Copy that into notepad, and save it as "server.list".  Then upload it to your Packages directory.

After that, go to the admin panel, and select YaBBpak Center.  Click on [ Download new YaBBpaks ].  Select the [ Browse ] next to GBAetc.  When it loads up, select the [ Download ] next to All Bugfixes 01-02-2003 2.0.

Select [ Back ], and then [ Back ] agian.  Now go to [ Browse YaBBpaks ].  Under Modification YaBBpaks, you will see allbugfixes01-02-03.mod.yp, click on [ Apply Mod ].

Follow the buttons, and you will be done.

Got this error message when I tried to install the mod:

Any chance of using ISO Date Format if you're going to include the date in the subject line? 01-02-03 is kinda confusing for some of us but 2003-01-02 is not!

Awwwwwwww.... I liked "01-02-03"!  I thought the date was special!! I'll change it though.

And, WebMonkey, your permissions on Packages/installed.list aren't set such that you can append to it. (may not be allowed even on 666)

Again this is a chmod problem.  Make sure you have write access first.

I run a very basic board at: http://www.carrscorner.com/yabbse/index.php and have never loaded any mods, but when I try and load this bug fix I get this message when running the Test(recommended) install.
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/home/jackcarr/htdocs/yabbse/Sources/Packages.php on line 326
