just clarifying cause I have a cramped neck and can't code anyway:

embedded.prm is always latest english translation
other files like, uhh..
dutch.prm

are the other language files. Right? Just making sure, because I'm coding admin options for these and am thinking of how to keep people up to date with all languages :) (also called: easiest way to update the mod without having to do any work ;))

I originally did the mod by hand. It went fine. Exactly as the instructions said.

It's just the strangest thing that the chat link in the menu opens a new window with the same content and a different url..or is that supposed to happen? And is there something else that is not happening?

This is a great mod. I have a problem with one user who uses a dialup - I can see him enter the chat room and he seems to get fired off...

Qoute from user "Everytime I've tried with whichever product--it goes thru "applet initialized" and the rest of the sequence--gives me the "ta da" and then I look at the blank screen."

He uses Windows ME with Explorer 5.5 and AOL 8 for dialup connection...

I have replicated this with Netscape 7 - a blank screen after loggin on - others can see me logged on - I can hear sounds - all I have is a blank screen...

Anyone help - please - so I can get this guy on track...

in chat.php change full.js to e.js let me know if that fixes it. Goosemoose lets get that new mod up using e.js as soon as possible.

It seems to now work - but the screen is half size - how do we fix this...

click rooms option button in top left or double click in the middle of the room. On the rooms registration tab you should have a transcript tab

Is anyone working on an update for 1.5? I tried but the code has changed alot and I'm not to good with this kind of programing. :-[

Omario: That would be a question for brodle.

I'm upgrading one of my forums to 1.5 now and will start looking at the code changes. There really should not be much of a difference because the chat mod is pretty self sufficient.
