Thanks for the input.  I will look into this some more.  This is why it is still in Beta.  As coded the first time, it worked perfect on my board, but I expected some problems as others tried to install it.  I will post again when I've reworked it.

As for the Moderators, I purposly did not include them because I figured they all are going to be in other groups automatically and did not want to have dup. emails in the form.  However, I can recognize the usefullness to have the moderators in their own email group and will work on a solution.

Just to let you guys know

I uninstalled the mod using the Yabbpac removal feature - and it went smoooooooth as silk.

The installed the updated .yp mod and it all works fine

This has all been done on my Modded testboard without problems.

Thanks for the mod!  I've been waiting for this.  Works well.  

One thing I was wondering, though, is if it could create a single name for the group you are sending to, like "newbie", instead of listing each individual name of every member in the "To" box.  This is because it generates a record for everyone on the list, in your Outbox.  Fortunately, my test group was only 11 people.  If someone did this for a group with 5,000 members, it would really load up their outbox.

As usual, I took the easy way.  I did not want to rewrite the IM function.  I don't even really know how it works.  I did not even touch that part.  If you choose to send IM instead, it just compiles the list of member names and redirects you to the "send IM" page (passing the "to" list).  At that point it has been handed off to the existing IM feature.

To do what you suggest one would need to rewrite the core of the IM functions and how IMs are stored in the table.  Something I don't want to do at this point.  Perhaps one day.    This was the safest and easiest way to get it done.

This comes up in the "Live from www.yabb.into..." in the yabb admin center, and also when you go into "member controms- email your members"

the only other mod I have installed is it global Moderator,

I dont have a clue what these errrors are...

Since my php has been modded heavily, my line numbers will not match up to yours.  Please post the corresponding code for each of those line numbers so I can examine it and look at my php to find what is happening in there.

Also, did you install this by hand or with PacMan?  If by PacMan, then did it say it found everything?

Seeing how it is in beta, I would expect that it did not work for every body... but don't roll your eyes at me.  I tried to download your version to see what you may have changed to get it to work for you but that did not work.  IF you really wanted to help others out there rather than being a "eye roller", you would report what did not work  in your case and we can all learn from it.  For others this mod has been very successful.  I still don't understand what problems you were having and what you mean by just saying "$txt[72]"  Please be more specific...

Jack that "rolleyes" was not for you or the mod .. it was for the last unsuccessful attempt to paste the boardmod code for the others. Its all your mod, i do not claim anything. All i did was take ur boardmod file which was not formatted for baordmod properly and missed many things and fix it to work with boardmod to help ppl who do not work with yabbpacks. I have tried the mod successfully on many installations on heavily modded boards and dont have any errors yet. I have even put it outta btesting into live sites.
Just my 2 cents for the YaBB community.

Also, are you the saying the boardmod file i put on doesnt work for u? hmmmmm... strange .... works perfect for me. what errors are u getting?
