OK, here is the current status of our new design *g*

  • Smilies, done
  • Menu-Buttons (register/login/logout/...), done
  • IM-Menu-Buttons, done
  • Additional IM Buttons/Graphics, 0%
  • Thread-Icons (hotthread/thread/locked/...) , done
  • Message Icons, 50%
  • YaBBC-Tag-Buttons, 0% (same as in Y1G)
  • new posts/no new posts/... , done
  • Avatars, 55% (Jeff and I did a few... more will follow)
  • Buttons for Moderators/Admins in Thread-View, done
  • other graphics, 65%

Currently working on: IM-Layout, ...

Make some new avatars for the 'yabb1gold' image in the admin panel (the place that tells you what version of each file you have). The current avatar doesn't look too great :D

All new graphics are 100% compatible with all YaBB-Versions ;D

Actually, is it possible to add a special "reply IM" button? The way it's currently working, the new, big "reply" button is displayed next to the sleek little buttons. It doesn't match the set.

Yep :-) I had't seen it because the IM always "crashed" when I tried to open it *g* There are quite a few things that must be changed....

I noticed that a good while ago and forgot to mention it!  :-[ But a bit of simple coding in the InstantMessage.php will fix it. Just call a new in=mage, like IMReply.gif  ;) But I'm sure you already knew that  ;D

btw, there's a bug in YaBB 1G,
if i try to set the avatar width/height to 0 (disable)
it will turn automatically to 65
so i had to change the Settings.pl file and reupload it
dunno if this happens to others too...  ::)

This bug will be fixed in SP1 and SE...

I'm falling in love with these avatars. They own the table up and down.

The 'New Message' (instant messenger area) has some white clippings around the edges  ;)

I still love these avatars. They could all have a purple clipping around the edge and I would still love them.
