Oh, you mean the script that uploads a new avatar to the YaBB server every 120 seconds, then runs random MySQL queries?  I was wondering why the server was so slow lately  >:( ;D ::)

No... all my avatars are stored at http://www.agigames.com/avatar/avatars/

then my script pulls them in from the directory, then chooses one at random and displays it in the forum.

<= Same here! There's a long thread about the scripting, started by some dumb PHP-N00B out there on the board somewhere...

RIIIIGHT, I know you're running random queries...  And I think you have a giant "laser" pointed at the server too!  I found you out!

On that same note, another neat new feature of 1.4 or 2.0 (your choice) would be the ability for the admin to choose if the 'always stay logged in' checkbox is active by default or not.

The same applies to the registration agreement.  I would like to have 'I agree' checked.

I can see where some admins would NOT want these checked, so I think it has to be defined in the admin center.  That way those worried about security or legaleese can have it set up like they do now, and those who like to post the root password in there forum for all to see (like me) can have it the other way.

I'm not sure either of these warrants immediate attention, but it would be nice to see in 2.0 at the least.  Ohhh, and an animated cow in 2.0 would be cool too.  Dragon GIF files like to eat cow GIF files for lunch.

Jeff, please put the system so you get the REAL IP addresse, not proxy IP. We have our biggest ISP here and this use same 2 proxy IP's for all users  ???

I have observed xmb software shows only real IP, wich is very useful if block IP's.

Quote from: Jeff Lewis on May 27, 2002, 11:37:08 AMWell, we or you, could change the way IPs are grabbed. Could use HTTP FORWARDED FOR. That should get the real IP address...
