The bad Css on the .nav class....

Is there any thought of the very minor fix needed to make the .nav class work correctly?  Small change....  It would make us Mozilla\Gecko users happy, tho...

change this:

Quote
.nav {
  COLOR: #000000; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}
.nav:link {
  COLOR: #000000; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}
.nav:visited {
  COLOR: #000000; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}
.nav:hover {
  FONT-WEIGHT: bold; COLOR: #cc3333; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}

to this:

Quote
.nav {
  COLOR: #000000; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}
.nav a:link {
  COLOR: #000000; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}
.nav a:visited {
  COLOR: #000000; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: none
}
.nav a:hover {
  FONT-WEIGHT: bold; COLOR: #cc3333; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}

Currently, if you hover on the nav links above the forum, no matter if it is a link or not, the entire line (when using inline links) gets underlined.  Like I said, minor cosmetic change.  This issue is not only in the main release template for YaBBSE, but also in just about every user made template.  People use that default template as a ... well... TEMPLATE to make their own styles.

Maybe you could mark your suggested changes with a different color. It took me quit a concentrated look to find the differences...

I would, but the color BBCODE tag doesn't work within the code tag.

So you might change it to the quote tag, there it works.  :)

I think you mean...

.nav
{
   color: #000000;
   background-color: transparent;
   text-decoration: none;
}
a.nav:link
{
   color: #000000;
   background-color: transparent;
   text-decoration: none;
}
a.nav:visited
{
   color: #000000;
   background-color: transparent;
   text-decoration: none;
}
a.nav:hover
{
   font-weight: bold;
   color: #cc3333;
   background-color: transparent;
   text-decoration: underline;
}

No.

There is nothing wrong with my code.  Both yours and mine validates.  Both are correct.  In this case it is just a matter of preference.
