LOL, sure, I spent like 6 weeks working on javascript popups and a single security hole.  As you can tell, I'm a *really* slow programmer... :P.

At last count, it had 17 new features, (plus bug fixes, etc.) and another 15 planned features or so....

And, uhhh... don't even ask for a boardmod/YaBBpak version of the upgrade for this version.  Seeing as I've rewritten every single last file from top to bottom.... that isn't gonna work :P.

so then would it  be ok just to wait for it instead of upgrading now and then again later?

In my YaBB SE 1.5.2  in "View error log file" only i can see one record, althought that happen anymore, and the mysql contains only one record. That means, only show one record, because mysql only has one record, because mysql don't log ALL THE ERRORS ¿why that?

How i can fix that?

Thank you in advance.

Uhhh... it's gonna be a little while.

el-brujo, it does log all errors.  Perhaps there weren't any errors... it's possible.

I try myself making an error, like trying to post without my account, etc, and Yabbse doesn't log this errors to mysql, and before yes it does.

So i think something is working bad.

¿ In the update or upgrade did you modify log_errors or something like that ?

Excuse my bad english, but i think you'll understand enough well.

In that case you probably didn't upload the most recent Errors.php.  Please tryt a detailed version check.

OK CAN I run the upgrade if I have the 1.5.1 including the bug fix? Should I run into any trouble? I am looking for the most stable upgrade possible. I used the update on The Blues Site but I am considerng runing the upgrade on Winemakers World. It has the same (version 1.5.1 with the recent security update installed).

Vince Cheney, please use the update.  It plus the security fix does nothing more than the upgrade.

CokeCan, it's just like a mod.  Just apply it the same way.

Well, i have the last Errors.php (version 1.5.1) but i was thinking and perhaps i make a mistake.

I did an uPGrade not an uPDate, and i has yabb 1.5.1.

Maybe when i run the upgrade.php it modify something wrong in mysql table log_errors?

The rest works fine, but log_errors only log one error, the fisrt error happened, and although there have been more, but not them logged.

Thank you in advande.

Added the updated files this morning in safe mode.

Perhaps not too soon - my Chronicles site was hacked about an hour later.

The hacker appears just to have replaced my homepage index.php file with the hacker's own index.html file. The forum was untouched.

I guess that means my Chronicles site must be important, now?  :-\

Thanks for the update folks - suddenly had a wake-up call on the issue of internet security.
