I've just started a design now. I've tried to make it simple but effective, including the logo and slogan into it. The template will stretch to fit any screen resolution as it's 100% in width.

First attempt

The template is below 5kb and the logo is 11kb, I think I could optimise it and make it smaller but it'll do for now, plus it'll get cached anyway.

Let me know what you think so I can change anything you think could be improved before I submit it please ;)

Here is my first attempt:

http://www.hubacher.net/yabbsesupport/template07-90.jpg

It is a technically very simple done, just some tables, with the colors adapted to the colors of the new logo.  The board template should then either use gray shadings only or also use the new logo colors. My screenshot shows an attempt with the community template also using the new logo colors. Of course there would be some additonal detail work to be done, but I suppose one gets the idea.

If I have some time I can activate the template in my next beta install, however this will probably not be before next wednesday since I have several projects deadlines.

Here is a more complete version of the template:

http://tempusfugit.netfirms.com/images/YaBB2.zip

Thanks to alienine for giving me the idea of the on/off buttons (hope it's not a problem that I used it too). As for the bandwidth I believe that with some tricks and a good css usage there won't be much problem...

Anyway, I hope you like this one and once again feel free to use any elements for your template  :)
