Are you completely sure you uploaded index.php?  That is where it was fixed.

sorry if this is a stupid question but i havent been following progress of the beta too much lately... looks like things are going well and from what i've seen of whats running here (i know its tweaked a little) there are some nice new features (like the 'when user was last online' thing).

two things i have wondered that i cant see here because i'm not a mod is...

- can a mod now to 'make sticky' on post like they can with the 'lock after post' box
- can users tell if their pm has been read by the recipient (i currently use a db query to do this)

Hasn't it always been that way?  I can make threads sticky on this board.

There's a mod to do this, and it does it well.

3- cool... will look see if it gets updated for the release version

There are too many pages of posts for me to sort through here, and since it wasn't included on the original post I will assume it wasn't asked.

Will the upgrade work with a version 1.3 board?

I assume you would have to upgrade to 1.4 first..

That's correct.  Just download the upgrade for 1.4.x, and upgrade to that before going to 1.5.1.

I am completely sure. I just did it again to be extra sure. No change.

Fault in B44:

I have installed B44 on my homepage (lycos) and now if i want to post a message to my board it shows an error.(syntaxfault) I think it has something to do with the replacetext javascript. This problem doesn't show up in B43 so the problem is new. Is it possible it has something to do with lycos or does everyone has this problem?

Sincerely yours, :P

You have to fix manually the path settings for uubc.js and fader.js in the file "Settings.php".

On my 1.51 build 44 board next thing happens:

When I view the 10 recent posts of a member, and try to reply with a quote (clicking the quote button). I get a session check failure

The same thing happens on this yabbse support board btw.

Just for those of you who may be having problems with any build of 1.5.1 beta....

Please realize that YaBB SE 1.5.1 is in the open beta phase.  Numerous problems and bugs are found every day, and it is impossible to explain precisely how to fix each and every one.

If you have any problems, PLEASE use the search feature of YaBB SE, because many are found and fixed in the support boards.  If you do not find anything, and believe it to be a bug, not a user issue... please open a bug report at sourceforge.

If you do not like this, please wait for the final version of YaBB SE 1.5.1.  Until then, you must understand that you are beta testing this software.
