Remember next time u ask help that u say u have 1.5.1 board with old Messageindex file. It does matter.

Well, the one from 1.5.1 wouldn't work, so compared to that, my problem won't be that big...

Copy the ubbc.js up in ascii mode, that is what solved my same problem.

That error was not generated by 1.5.1.  Upload a new clean copy of 1.5.1's MessageIndex.php.

I'm having the same sort of problem.. but I tried copying that file back over and I'm still getting Error on page.. someone send me a clean copy of ubbc.js??

Unzip any of the install packages (upgrade or update or safe mode install) in reply #1 of this thread, it will contain a clean uubc.js

hmm.. for some reason this just isn't working for me.. tried uploading with frontpage.. tried uploading via ftp via ascii mode and still no go.. any other suggestions?

Spaceman-Spiff, go into your FTP and delete Settings.php and reupload.  Something was messed up in it.

everything runs fine after the installation, even after the error msg, so i never bother checking Settings.php :P
