In 1.4 if a subject was long, the subject shown in the lastpost column on the index was cut down so as not to occupy a load of lines.

Any chance of changing it to be like that again in the final

Ohh... ok I got it fix.
But after upgrading to 1.5.1
If I click on the any of the "Last Post" links at index.php. It will direct me to the first page of the designated topic which should actually be the last page of the topic directly to the last posting.

I think it's by design since v1.0. I agree, that it should be the last page/last post, but therefore you've the "new" picture beside the subject, too.

On the left side of the post field,
you can read "posts: xxxx" for every user!

is that the count of the actual posts which are on the forum,
or is it the number of posts ever written by the user?

Posts recorded.  Any comments on the actual subject?

I'd swear it still does this....

Oh, ok!
Thought it's a bug,
when I delete a post,
the number of the user,
who has posted the post,
is still the same! ;)

I got the following 3 errors when running the upgrade:

Warning: fopen("./Settings.php", "w") - Permission denied in /home/virtual/site15/fst/var/www/html/community/upgrade.php on line 431

Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/virtual/site15/fst/var/www/html/community/upgrade.php on line 432

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/virtual/site15/fst/var/www/html/community/upgrade.php on line 433

It seems to work correctly..... however, the functions I've written to access forum stuff from outside of it have gotten messed up.  I'll be hacking at it today.

Download the update package, and run it's installer after chmod'ing Settings.php so it can be written.

Okay, I don't know how I failed to chmod the original settings.php but I didn't.  It's working fine now.  BUT, new problem:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: clicklog() in /home/virtual/site15/fst/var/www/html/community/SSI.php on line 61

This comes up regardless of if the "clicklog()" is called within or outside of the forum.  I tried to include subs.php prior to the clicklog being called but it doesn't prevent the error.

To add to this: I tried including the function in the ssi.php and index.php and then it complains:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: loadcookie() in /home/virtual/site15/fst/var/www/html/community/index.php on line 61

For some reason it's just not finding the outside functions... any ideas?
