Ok, so let's call YaBB SE 1.5.1RC a case study not a RC/open beta?
Hmm, that make things complicated for me, but who cares ;)

Well, if I ever said I was changing a horrible amount of code, I meant my secret project.

I have schanged, quite literally EVERY file.  And I'm not even done.

So, why don't you setup the CVS for this version? The way it is now, offering the so-called RC for download is quite useless.... imho  ::)

What I want to know: is you "secret project" going into one of the 1.5.1 releases, or is it an add-on to a 1.5.1 release, or is it an alternative to a 1.5.1 release?  ???

I just don't get how it fits in with the general picture.  And I sit in with halebopp...  I'll be doing a lot of changes to the UI (okay, I'm really picky...  so what), and I don't want to have to redo a bunch of stuff.

AFAIK, 1.5.1 will contain only bugfixes, and security fixes.

Safe mode install.  I need a safe mode installer for beta 1.5.1.  Does it exist or will this one install for me?

I have been following this beta test thing and noticed that build 38 has been on for about two weeks.  Is it considered stable enough?  Any approximate release date for the final version?

Help, help, help!

While upgrading from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 (after getting board hacked) :(  the following error appears:

Database Error

Unknown column 'lt.ID_MEMBER' in 'on clause'
File: /homepages/htdocs/yabbse/Sources/MessageIndex.php
Line: 269

Any help greatly appreciated.

Managed to solve the problem.  :)  For some reason the upgrade created duplicate tables in the database.  By renaming the tables everything seems to work OK.

Thanks  :D
