okay, here's another issue for ya...

during theupgrade.php process at continue=2 i get this error way down at the bottom of a bunch of successful data inserts:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2 bytes) in /usr/www/users/ozma/yabbse/upgrade.php on line 203

Quote from: smacktalk on January 22, 2003, 05:14:37 AMMy stats page links are not working again so I just replaced $boardurl with $scripturl in stats.php:

<td><font size="2"><a href="' . $boardurl . '?board=' . $row_topic_view['ID_BOARD'] . ';action=display;threadid=' . $row_topic_view['ID_TOPIC'] . ';start=0">' . $row_topic_view['subject'] . '</a></font></td>with

<td><font size="2"><a href="' . $scripturl . '?board=' . $row_topic_view['ID_BOARD'] . ';action=display;threadid=' . $row_topic_view['ID_TOPIC'] . ';start=0">' . $row_topic_view['subject'] . '</a></font></td>

I think [unknown] had this fix in his bugfix.

Fixed in latest package.

Slightly reduced the memory requirements too.

I'll get to the log_board updating tomorrow...

I have guest posting disabled on my forum, so when they post it shows the error in the error log, but I just looked then and it had something weird:

/index.php?board=3;action=post;threadid=94;title=Post%2Breply;start=15
To post you must be logged in. If you don't have an account yet, please <a href="http://rpgcyco.fsonline.ca/index.php?board=3;action=register">register</a>.

Should it have that <a href=blah blah>blah</a>
code there? I don't remember it being there before...

Before it was left alone - meaning html worked and so did js.

Bad mojo - that's why it was fixed.

Nice work, now if i begin writting mods for this version, will i be kicking myself for not waiting another week or two, or do you reckon 99% of this stuff works and for any problems that do occur will i be able to fix them easily untill SE 2 comes, thx. Im eager to get modding this one :) i have so many new plans for it ;D

Yeah its nice :)

I have a comment though, you may want to update the Credits part in Admin, it still says the same thing as 1.4.1 did ;)

Now I'm kind of reluctant to use the upgrade(.php), so I would like to put the excisting contents of my tables into the newly mad tables by v1.5.1Rc1

One of the reasons is, that I have heaps of mods on my board built in, and I would like to start with "clean" tables.

Another reasons is that I don't want to lose any data, and want to do the conversion quick and clean without being offline too long.

Now I've asked Compuart to help me out, and he mad something for me to get started with, but I don't want to bug him now, because he's very busy with his own website.

Maybe there are more people who want a script like this ?

It should read out ONLY the rows/columns (?) that are useful for the new database, and put all data directly into it.  Perhaps in chunks of 100 or 1000 at a time, because of time-outs that could occur ?

In phpmyadmin it is possible to duplicate tables, so I could manage it that way, but I wanted to ask this here, so maybe some other people could be helped with it.

I want to upgrade a.s.a.p. because this Rc1 version rulezzz !
