You have to view the message and then there is a link where you reply/delete etc that allows you to backup the message.
I might add a way to backup a bunch of messages at the same time as well but haven't done it yet.

Ok RC7 is out. It fixes the rounding problem and allows you to backup multiple messages.

Let me know if you do find any bugs as this will probably be the final release.

And here's another..  Select a msg to backup. CLick on backup.. msg disappears. Go to backup box.. NO MSG!

Are you sure you installed it correctly? I haven't had that problem before... no error message either?

Well, my usual habit is for each release you make, I go back through line by line and replace the changes on each php file. Thus making sure I am using the exact code for each release. I'll go through them all again just to make absolutly sure.  And no, this time no error msgs.

it was the multiple and I found the error, my bad. Sorry for the false alarm. Anyrate, I did find another tho. Not sure how it acts when you send mail to others, but when you send mail to yourself. After reading your mail and deleting it. It should be shown in the outbox as deleted. It dont even show it as being read. So far, non of my mail sent is shown as being deleted. They are being shown as read when the mail is to others.

Well there is no image for deleted. So if you delete it without reading then it will still show as unread. But I will check the sending IMs to yourself problem.

Ok new version out. I changed around the view IM code a bit to clean up the html mainly. Also added a message if the inbox is full to remind users. And lastly it allows admin/global mod to send an IM even if the user has a full inbox.

I was thinking of adding a reply field so people know if they have replied to that IM. Would anyone be interested in something like that?

To update from RC7 just overwrite your old InstantMessage.php and add one new line to english.lng.

Little bug in InstantMessage.php.. Dont recon the line; but theres a ';  too much wich causes the error.

Ok new version for build 40. Also added is the replied field. I've added a dbmod.php file to run the sql query stuff now.
