[Beta 1.5.1] AdvIM

This mod improves upon the IM features of 1.5.1. The biggest enhancements are the ability to limit IMs of your users, seeing the status of your IM, and the addition of a backup box for storing important messages.

You can download RC12 here:
http://www.dune2k.com/yabbse/AdvIM-RC12.zip

This will most likely be the final release so please test and report any bugs.

instead of backup box, allowing the user to create their own folders will be just as hard

I just created another table to store those backed up messages in. I suppose I could make it so they could create their own folders but that will be for the Extremely AdvIM mod. :D

I could also make it an .eml file or whatever they are called, so it could be imported/opened by your email client.

Seems like more work then is warented, but if you want.  Could be fun to play with though.

When I hit Backup, is asked me if I'm really sure that I want to delete the messages.

I'm not sure about that :P.

Update: the js for "Remove this message? is incomplete, it needs );, etc.

Ya I haven't done anything with the backup stuff yet so its just a copy of delete. :)

What page is that on? I don't remember changing the delete message javascript so it might be in the original code.

When I view a message in detail, the delete button (bottom right corner) doesn't work....

I was wrong... but it doesn't like this:
javascript:DoConfirm('Remove this message?','http://www.dune2k.com/yabbse/?board=;action=imremove;caller=1;id=45;sesc=aae7fe04d5d47da2af02797b3d7d5a45');
Perhaps there is no DoConfirm function - is it in view?

Cool Mod!

Its good, that not all IMs are listened. So i can open this which i want to read.

- The Backup Box doesnt work :-/

It would be great, if i can see that someone have read his Message or not.

Look at this Mod:
