jv,

the file is Subs.php and not Sub.php

it is located in the Sources sub-directory.

you only need to alter index.php in the forum root directory.......any other index.php file in sub-directories contain different code and should not be altered.

you may be looking at index.php in the sources sub-directory...that file contains very little code...

don't panic....you can always download the Yabbse files again from this site if you have erased/damaged the code....just take your time with this....there's no rush and you will get there in the end..... :)

I keep getting these Error Latey

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /tripod/uk/*****/yabbse/index.php on this server.

Well it's pretty ennoying.. but I have 2 forums on Lycos.
1 using 1.4.1 and the other using 1.5.2 (supermod) and I'm getting these errors on the 1.5.2 and I don't get this on the 1.4.1.

Keep the forum basicly working before you install the mod.  (Everything should work except when posting, it will redirect you to a diffrent page)

Sounds like you have a change mod problem.  Check out the install instructions again, or the FAQ area.

is there any one that can crappity smack tha problems with the yapppak center to work with tripod

it gives the
2: ini_get() has been disabled for security reasons
when you load the yapppak center

i think its just trying to read the servers file to load the off site links

but what i would like to see as the mod for this is

to be able to just upload the files to the ftp server and run the yapp paks off there
not sure if you can even broswe the pak servers but not all are on a server any ways but if you can upload them to the account and be able to still install

that would own

many thanks

if i knew how to do it i would

also ima running pfabb or what ever it is

thanks again

There's no way that YaBB pack center will ever work with Tripod. The security settings will prevent it from working.

lol i musta been drunk that dont even make sense to me  :)

well it can still work right i mean its just trying to load off site info and spittin a error

but the installer should work right

i mean it only reads the files in the package folder and changes files

i think that it can do that seeing that the attactments and stuff work so i know that the script can write files

just needa make it only list the files in the package folder and stop trying to load off site info

Modifying files and letting them be chmod'ed is something different than just uploading attachements.

Modifying source files offline using boardmod is way easier if you're using lycos  8)
