That typically means your sql variables (to connect to your database) aren't correct...such as your database name, username, pwd, localhost, etc...

I don't believe you can change picture titles without going into the db to do it manually.  I wanted to do that the other day but didn't find a set way to do it easily.

HI Charlotte,  well I was never prompted for them.  the install.php prompts for imagemagick path only. ??

Actually, it appears that the install program is not picking up the YSE variables.  anyone know the reason for this?

I'm at work and can't check from here, but isn't there a var file of some sort that you have to edit and upload prior to running the install?

Hmm, I don;t think there is a VAR file, the PHP files appear to take the YSE variables.  Anyway, I have created the tables manually and now to just find out how to get rid of the yabb gallerycopright notice... and test it out.  Thanks.

OK, fixed the gallery copyright problem, but do not see a hotlink to upload a picture.  I see DELETE MODIFY and MOVE PICTURES  -- no option to upload a picture to an album (albums create just fine).

Any ideas?  Thanks!

slack, try the manual gallery installer (link in 1st post)

and for the upload link, u need to add <yabb galleryMenu>
read the readme file for more tags to add to your template

Thanks Spaceman!  roger, roger.

It is working now.  (galleryMenu was missing a bracket <sigh>).  the quality of the uploaded picture really suffers... goes from nice color photo to black white and green.  I'm using GD2, is this a settings problem?

Found it, it was the create intermediate size pic option.

The logo is not showing and the CSS HTML box graphics at the bottom of the page are not showing.  How would I fix these?

set all your images in template into full url, or full path
example, instead of YaBBImages/logo.jpg
change into:
/forum/YaBBImages/logo.jpg or http://www.site.com/forum/YaBBImages/logo.jpg
the image was broken because the gallery is in different folder
this also applies to external css or js files link

Anyone have any idea why nothing happens when I click an image to load the full-size one? The link points to "javascript:;". Seems like that's wrong... but what do I know?

Look back a few pages in this thread, there is a fix posted for anyone that was having javascript errors.
