Uh... now I have a problem... I type in my bio info, and it saves it for a little while, but then it just seems to disappear. It will save it just fine for other members, just not me. Help!

Go Look in your sql database. Go look in the members part of the db. Look for your name. verify that the bio entry in your name is actually containing information. you do know how to get to your sql data don't you? usually with phpadmin or some other control panel type that the host provider supplys to you.

Yeah, I know how to get there. It seems that the thing doesn't remember the info if you go in to edit your profile...

I thought I replied to this allready, suppose I did not. Sounds like something might have changed the sql query in function viewprofile(). I could give you tips on what to look for but I guess it would be easier for me to see for myself. Go ahead and attach file profile.php via my e-mail address, which you can find in my profile.

I figured it out... I went back through profile.php... turns out I left out a MySQL request string in the ModifyProfile() function. I put that line in and it's working fine now... It's gonna seem "boring" now... I've been installing new stuff so much that I've run out of stuff to do with my board (I've got the Memberlist Plus, MemberMap, Add More Smilies and Now Listening To mods on my board).

Actually, it's not his problem.

Make sure the package server URL is:
http://www.the-meeting-place.com/archives/yabbsoft

With NO slash at the end.  Personally, I prefer slashes on the ends... but you'll notice I always say my package server is at http://gbaetc.homeip.net/yypack.

Hi! I have this error using boardmod to apply the mod on a newly installed YABBSE 1.5.1 Final release:

Step 5 ... failed - ERR(1): Search string could not be found

I ran through my Profile.php and the closest match I see is:

$member['signature'] = str_replace(array('<', '>', '\''), array('&lt;', '&gt;', '&#039;'), $member['signature']);

Should this be where I add the changes manually?
